Zanzibar Films have joined forces with filmmaker Paul Davey to produce a major documentary film on the amazing story of the Irish Cricket team at the recent world cup in the Carribean.
Davey travelled with the Irish team throughout the world cup and filmed over 40 hours of exclusive behind the scenes footage.
Back in Ireland, Davey is now organising final interviews to be filmed, before post production begins in September. The film is being produced by Shimmy Marcus and Edwina Forkin of Zanzibar Films (Headrush, Aidan Walsh - Master of the Universe). It will be broadcast and available on DVD by Christmas.
