How The Irish Cricket Team Is Preparing For The ICC World Cup
The Ireland Cricket Team is one of countrywide cricket team for each Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. In the past years the Irish Cricket Team game cannot grow to be the ICC (International Cricket Council) an Associate Member until 1993, because of uncertain and difficult condition of politics in all over the country. This Cricket Team has participated in complete four International Cricket Council Trophy competitions from the year 1993, and were runners-up in the year of 2005 International Cricket Council Trophy competition.
The Irish team won the International Cricket Council worldwide Cup in the year 2005 in Namibia (Wind-hoekc) by beating Kenya by six wickets. The Irish Cricket Team has been currently granted the representative ODI (One-day International) category by the ICC from 2006, January 01 until the 2009 International Cricket Council cup.
The Irish cricket teams have got inside and played its opening official (ODI) One-day International with the England Cricket Team in Belfast on 2006, June 13. The Irish Cricket team has also capable for the International Cricket World trophy in the year of 2007 in the Western Indies. In training to the World trophy, Irish where participating for more One-Day International’s with Netherlands and Kenya in the year 2007, January in Kenya, Moi International Stadium. Later on, they have moved to United Arab Emirates to play a One-Day International with Scotland Cricket Team, followed by an worldwide trophy cricket game with the United Arab Emirates at Abu Dhabi.
The Irish Cricket Team has been sited in Group D of the International Cricket Cup of World trophy 2007 team groupings, alongside with the Pakistan Cricket Team, Zimbabwe and Western Indies. The cricket team has played for its first international trophy competition with Zimbabwe on the year 2007, March 15 in Jamaica. Ireland has been called the squad team for the International Cricket Council of international trophy in the past 2007 on the month of August 25, 2006.
